Social Media Tasks For Your Virtual Assistant

This article gives you ideas on having your virtual assistant take over or help you with your social media. It may take more work to think about your tasks. Or if you're still asking yourself what a virtual assistant does, you've come to the right place. Suppose you create a lot of content on social media or want to create a lot of content for social media. It can be challenging to think and decide what the virtual assistant can do to help grow your business. You guys can have that walkthrough on what virtual assistants can do.

Solidifying your Brand

The first thing fantastic can do is solidify your brand or your company brand. Now a lot of the time, when you're creating a business for like super excited and want to get this done, this is how we want to get known this is the problem we're solving all over the place. We don't have like brand pillars that we stick to we don't have fun, so we like to use what may seem a little bit like arbitrary stuff, but it helps solidify in your consumer's heads who you are and who you associate with. So, for example, for us in 2xYou, we pick the color dark blue and light blue, and we have that in hand, holding the logo on all of our websites and all of our collateral. So then that showcases that that will be what we try to embody every single time. So if you see from all of the different social media posts, we have a check out our Instagram is going to be a lot of different things and integrations. All of that is our branding. You'll notice we'll use the same colors and fonts repeatedly because that is what we want to be known for. So the virtual assistant can help you ensure that you have that uniform and brand of who you are. They can be someone who can help you develop that further, or they can do further research on how to show up as your brand, how to create a brand kit, how to use Canva to create consistent types of posts, and how to show your brand to your target market.

SEO Research

The next thing that your virtual assistant does for you does SEO research. So SEO has no idea what it is it's search engine optimization. So you're making sure that the posts or content they create show up for the people you want it to be seen for. So, for example, let's say you are a fitness expert then your assistant can research keywords and tags to research topics that many people are currently wondering about. So they can help give you ideas on the types of posts you can create. They can help optimize some of the posts you might already have or are going out. So they're just becoming experts in a little bit of SEO for your industry, helping you boost your past posts, your current posts, or your post.

Graphics Creation

Another area that your original tweet comes when and this is one where a lot of people then is having your assistant take over graphic creation. This skill needs a bit of a natural knowledge of what good graphics look like, but it gave me something teachable. There's training out there, especially on Canva, and if you still need to begin, please sign-up with my leanlai.com/canva. I talked about Canva as a tool that I use, and many of our virtual assistants use this. They provide a lot of training. And for a lot of our systems. They help create graphics, collateral PDFs, and everything you guys have seen on all of our social media that's all been created through Canva. It can be really easy to have your assistant once you have your grandkids able to create graphics and collateral for you and your business.

Copywriting

Whether it's creating captions, it's creating your newsletter. Still, it's creating your website copy, whatever it is, when it comes to having more, learn more and more about your business and having them write as your copywriting is one of the skills that you can either train them in or they might already have that you can harness and have them be better at it so then whenever you are talking to your customers or wherever they're talking to customers, there's a cohesive message of what it is they try to push them to what is the next step through customers, for them to start being more involved in your business. So having your assistant operator be the person who looks over what goes out will be helpful for you because that's another task that will be off of your head.

Engage with Audience

Another task that you can give to your virtual assistant for social media is being able to engage with your audience. So we talked about this just a little bit: having your VA take care of your customer support, engaging with them through them commenting on your potential client's posts, and reaching out to people who could be influencers or people who can help grow your business. Your virtual assistant gets engaged with the people in the audience that you're building with your Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, or whatever social media platform that you're using so that you're able to grow that audience and relate to the audience can give you insights and reports of how people react to specific posts or certain agencies have done and be able to even experiment on different things that can be added to your system.

Check Mentions

Another one is to be able to check for mentions and partnerships. So a lot of the time, and you probably just missed this as an intrapreneur, we will have an opportunity, and we didn't see it, or we got a review and didn't see it. So having a virtual assistant manage the community and the audience that you have helps the easier for you to catch these as they come along. I know I've made a mistake before. I've got sponsorship proposals, and I didn't see them right away, and then having my business say, " Hey, have you seen this? I'm like, oh yeah, we should take care of it. So having your system take care of your communications. And again, engaging with your audience is another way to ensure those don't slip through the cracks.

Creating Posts

Next is, of course, another way your virtual assistant can help you with your social media is by creating posts. And this is something that is challenging thing, especially if they've never done this before. There's a lot of training and resources that they can go through to learn how to do just this and how to create the graphics, how to create the captions, how to create a content calendar that they can follow that things are always done in the future and not having to go to rush. So having a virtual assistant creating posts where it's not just you anymore offloads more of that for me. For example, I create this YouTube video once a week. Then our fantastic marketing assistant Aksu, haste turns this into some evergreen content wheel where she will take a video I've done like two months ago, use it in blog posts, and then create posts for it afterward. So it's become something where you must do one big push of effort. And then everything else is just a system in the background,

Build A Community Around Your Business

And another one we already discussed is is that building the community behind your ads helps grow your audience. They've been helping you cultivate the community behind them. For example, let's say you are, again, a fitness example. So you're a fitness mom, and that's your niche. Then they're creating posts that will entice those fitness moms to share it on their page. Your Virtual Assistant helps create collateral that other people can use because this is something that they get now to understand why they would make specific posts and why they would make particular giveaways or collateral for a specific group that you're targeting.

Connect With Other Influencers In The Same Niche

The next thing you can do, and what I already touched on, connect with influencers in the same niche who can promote your product. So watching, you're like, Hey, I saw this YouTube video on this amazing, you know, hit expert, what if we work with them, and then you guys can work on a brand new ship and all of that. So asking your virtual system to take care of that in a bit of acquisition, looking at who you work with. It's another powerful way to get your system to know your business better. And, of course, bring in more business.  And a cool one you probably have yet to think of is having your assistant attend events in your niche. That way, you've constantly updated on what's happening and the latest thing because they can create posts based on that. They can look at future conferences that you can speak at, so they're able to keep you up to date on the world of the industry that you're in. So you're always creating relevant things for your audience, and at the same time, it's promoting you. There are a lot more things that a virtual assistant can do. That's just one section. That's just social media, you guys, hmm, all the other videos I have on my channel on different tasks that virtual assistants can do, or you guys can go to 2xyou.com/103. 103 tasks that we've written up.
